Kiki van der Heiden
Kiki van der Heiden is a visual and fibre artist, born in the Netherlands. In 2001 she moved from Amsterdam to Haida Gwaii. Her studio is a small round building nestled in hemlock and cedar trees on Robertson Island. Kiki creates paintings, felt creations, prints, and installations that reflect the ever-changing environment of the islands, and of herself. She shares the magic of felt making and the joy of painting through art exhibitions and collaborative projects.
Taan’s Moons: A Haida Moon Story is Kiki’s first book with McKellar & Martin. We are very proud to have her on our list.
