Judson Beaumont

Judson Beaumont was a Canadian-born designer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Judson created, and was known worldwide for, his one-of- a-kind furniture pieces and installations. His engaging, whimsical, and often surreal approach to furniture, design, and public installations have also garnered him much acclaim and many awards including a 2009 BC Achievement Award for Furniture Design, and a Creative Achievement Award of Distinction in 2014. Judson’s furniture and installations are featured in expositions in Tokyo, New York, London, Vancouver, and Hong Kong.

Timbertown Tales: Chester Gets A Pet! was Judson’s first title with McKellar & Martin.
